Up slow, down fast... If you get my drift... Well, my previous image went over like a lead balloon. I guess most people aren't interested in work-in-progress characters. After all, art is not made by committee, and it's better to be confident even if you are confidently wrong. (It's quite another thing to be an enthusiastic defender of bad ideas, however.) And, it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission! So anyway, I'm just going to go for it with some characters unless/until I hear some objections, and save the "now what?" stuff for times that I truly don't know what I should do next, and I do anticipate one character that I don't quite know how to handle.
