zoomed, this is a very strong almost abstract photo. The driftwood almost looks like an animal bone. It has a strange life to it. And it's so spare, against that high-sheen water. The ripples are strong, but also there are gentle ripples, and the combination makes for a very varied surface. Your crop brings all that contrast out. A fine single study of that beautiful form, and the hard as well as gentle vibrations it causes. And the form itself has an almost 'painted' quality, in your treatment. Very fine work, Marilyn.
