They are related. Jasmine & Otis share the same great great great grandad. Pedigrees fascinate me. Munsters are changing from when I first came into the breed. I find it hard to find the Munster I like. People are going over to Germany & using German dogs. In my honest opinion, yes I know they are German but they are different & temperaments are different. In Germany they are JUST a hunting dog, so can be sharp. The only one of mine that was sired by a German dog was very sharp with other dogs, lovely with people. That was Pagan, she was fine if dogs left her alone but if they bothered her she would go for them. I told her she missed out on so much as I had to be careful where she went. We have a Munster rescue, the reasons for dogs coming into rescue used to be, home breakup, death in the family, noise. Now a lot are coming in because of temperament. I think people who have been in the breed 5mins are mixing lines that they know nothing about. People (in all things) do NOT do an apprentiship anymore & want to be instant experts. I did my homework with Truly, she is mainly old lines & I have known most of the dogs in her pedigree. Where I would go again I have no idea.
