Description
Of the surfinia purple variety, captured back on 6/1/08 @ 4:20 pm, I assume somewhere around the neighborhood. I've got tons/tonnes of these forgotten beauties in the file, awaiting to be selected.
Have a nice day.

beautiful flower, nice capture
Wonderful !!!!!!
This flower has kept very well over all the years. LOL... A fantastic shot, beautiful colors and fantastic details.
So pretty, Harry. Who wouldn't smile at these colorful beauties? Well done!
What a stunning shot of this purple-veined petunia, Harry; such a lovely variety!
awesome design for this flower, splendid textures !!!
I love these colors... Marvelous flower my friend !!!
Wonderful shot, beautiful colours just about perfect mate. Excellent quality. Rob
lol, hendesse---like this petunia has been in this condition since you shot it. A beautiful frontal capture, with deep purple rays radiating out from the center, and looking like a deep ink spill in the center of the flower. The texture of the petals is very clear, it looks like crepe-paper, almost, or taffeta. And it fills the center of the pic, with all those beautiful hues around it. A simple frontal shot, but filled with detail; and a real beauty of a flower shot. Harry, I'm over an hour now, so must stop, but as with all my visits, it's a pleasure. I think I did 9 this time, which is more apace (for me) than some of my recent efforts. This is a beautiful place to stop, it's a beautiful capture. oh and 2 things: one, the comment-box problem was solely with Safari: When I went to Firefox, it cleared up. Safari, being a Mac browser, has had problems with RR before; and I use the very latest Safari, along with the latest system updates. It frustrates me no end that an art site---which has plenty of mac users---has problems communicating with Mac apps. I guess not everyone had the problem, but my Safari was fine with every other site---so RR had a problem. And 2, thanks for your comment on my alley shot---and yes, lol, that was actually a chicago alley. If you thought that was a grungy alley, you ain't seen nothin' yet. That was clean, for chicago! (We got alleys that would scare away godzilla. Al Capone is the right image...) That alley I shot was tame, as our alleys go...
