Description
Captured 4/24/12, looking down from the top of the staircase toward the venetian blinds and shadow on the wall at the stairwell.
I cannot explain the source of the eerie-like shadow at the lower part of the window at the left. I checked and it was not from a bush, tree or any other obstacle that I could discern. Perhaps a Peeping Tom or Sasquatch? With my luck it was probably something not of this world, possibly a temporary tear in the space-time continuum.
Have a nice day.

Amazing POV and view ... fantastic shadows also !!!
Living shadow? Or maybe a passing llama ;)
Absolutely wonderful !! Superb sense of composition and POV !!!!!!
Excellent photo. I was going to comment on that shadow cast upon the window, and how it didn't create a shadow itself through the blinds onto the wall; but you covered that. Regardless, it's still a excellent catch and creates a eerie feeling on what appears to be a bright sunny day.
The venetian blinds shadow on the wall is from the window on the right, and not from the weird window motif on the left.
Well, it does seem to be someone standing on your porch or looking in your windows, yikes! Well spotted, my friend, and the lines of the blinds are lovely with the sun streaming through them!
a photograph, maybe a ghost ... in any case a good idea which gives a great result! I appreciate very much !!!
Cool perspective and shadow, whatever it was. :)
Love that kind of geometric shadows
Yep, that is kinda freeky mate.. Cool capture.. Well noticed. Rob
Great angle for the shot!!!
Maybe that strange shadow is a photographer from another planet trying to figure out how you get these shots. A splendid shadow-light shot, with beautiful light in the windows, and more beautiful light-shadows in the wall. Your angle adds to the mystery of it. We've seen enough indoor shadow shots from you---forgetting all the glass and eyeglass beauties, just the stairwell shots and window-blind shots alone---to know how well you do these. In this case, the angle as well as the deep shadows, make this a very dramatic capture. The fineness of the lines---from the blinds---gives real rhythmic repetition to the shot. And you always have a golden glow around the shadows in these stairwell shots...More beautiful shadow work from you, and I love the deep dark you have at the bottom of the shot---it makes it almost a night shot, even though it's clearly bright day. Beautifully done, Harry!
