Description
some are for high end suitcases, some for high end furniture locks. others are skeleton keys. I made the Master key into a master. two yesterday were hand formed(not me). if you look close you can tell. I have made keys by hand for safes
I was a safe technician/locksmith for many years . while working for my self people would ask if I could unlock their furniture. they would tell me to remove the locks and take along with the keys . unfortunately I threw the locks away but held onto the keys . I checked on Ebay and found some similar to yesterday's post for $130 US reduced to 80 some dollars. I may put mine on .
I did have an antique key cutting machine, but gave to my son in case he could sell for a few bucks

Very nice keys and shot!
Richard, this is the coolest collection of keys I've ever seen. That is so cool that you were a safe technician/locksmith for many years, that must've been a blast.
great collection you have. imagine the history behind them.

Espetacular coleção de chaves Richard a foto é fabulosa.++++++++++++5
Now I know who to call if I ever get locked in a safe.... :-P A fascinating variety of keys, Richard. I love old stuff like this. Just look at all the different shapes and sizes... Fascinating...
A very nice collection I think your hand made ones are in the row that starts on the left with the silver no 38 key - yours counting from the left is no 4 and no 8, both deeply tarnished and the hole appears drilled, not stamped or cast like the others. Like I said, love your challenges!
lots os keys. i watch that show on tv where they are lock smiths. They have to open a lot of diff safes. one was in a truck of a car. nothing was in it.
About ebay, you're right Richard. But, before, do not forget to model them (all lol) in 3D for some Runtime : who knows if it will or won't match the market place ?
Kool keys
great collection

How VERY cool and what a fascinating career! Such unique keys there! I hope you pass these down to your children some day.
