Description
This has been a fascinating week for thoe with an interest in medieval history, and more. The bones of King Richard 111, last Plantagenate king, killed in battle in 1485 were discovered under a car park in Leicester 3 years ago...verified as the bones of this king...DNA etc. Finally reintered in Leicester cathedral yesterday. So much public interest...crowds lining the streets, visiting the cathedral for a king with a dubious reputation...think Shakespeare's play.
However I love archeology, history , etc. Perhaps people world wide saw some of this on TV too.
