Description
Captured 5/26/11, in the beautiful lobby of the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific in beautiful Long Beach, California.
I believe the bubbles emanated from the apparatus of one of the divers who tend the Cavern.
The lovely Blue Cavern is quite spacious, and home to a large variety of sea life. Plus, photography in a dark aquarium is an extremely arduous, touch and go, task.
Shalom.

Absolutely suggestive capture !!!!!
Fantastic shot my friend !!!
Superb shot, Harry; it has an almost graphic feel to it. Kudos on your low-light photography!
cool shot!
Almost looks like you're underwater as well, good capture. Post for you mate just gone up.. Rob
Aquarium shooting is, I'm sure, like art museum shooting---it's very difficult and delicate. This is a fine capture of fish and water and bubbles, and that eerie light that's only seen underwater. But you've also made it (ala Denise) a very graphic piece. And the bubbles become a very grainy element, making this an abstract interpretation as much as a capture. The shafts of blue light next to dark light make wonderful curtains throughout. And some of the shapes are mysterious, as if they were old shipwrecks or other very old detritus...A marvelous image, Harry, well worked. You took the problems of low light photography and turned them into a fine graphic print. Kudos added to Denise's. (Harry, I'm skipping around again so I can get a sampling across the many I haven't comment on yet. If I already said that, forgive me---but in case I didn't, I wanted you to know. I'll return to chronological commenting soon...)
