Nice shot, neat plane! But where's the herd of wild reindeer? ;)
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Great shot Andrew.
Wonderful capture Andrew
Marvelous image!
First flying Caribou I see! :)
That's one hell of a tail mate :-)
The large tail on these was necessary because of the airframe design, a regular tail on this kind of configuration would cause the aircraft to nose up all the time even with trim enabled. and the rudder wouldn't be large enough to control the yaw. Look at the Hercules, it has a similar configuration. Great shot after my anorak comment :P
Flew on one moons ago, cool shot Andrew.
Wonderful shot!
So lucky mate, I wish this stupid Country felt some pride in itself and kept some aircraft flying... Not just Spitfires! (I know that sounds weird but when you go to Duxford and that's almost all that's there its a bit 'boring'?) A Lightning would be SO cool! Great shot, lovely aircraft.. Never seen one fly.. (Seen one on Dayton museum, its coming up in the Legends series). Rob
A wonderful photo Andrew - it reminds me of our original C-130!
