Description
It's been a little while since I rendered a bit more complex image. I've done a few here and there, but it's been a hectic few weeks. I had a cousin pass away, my mother had surgery for cancer, and we endured two back to back months of terrible weather. January was constant snow well into February; then February was the coldest we've had on record. I think I have shoveled and snow blowed more this year than I have in all of the past three years combined. I don't think anyone in the northeast can wait for spring to arrive. Temperatures above 30 degrees will seem like a heatwave.
Anyway, this image was sort of devised with the idea of creating a scene to reflect London in perhaps the 70's. A young girl on her way home from an evening out.

Great ambience of clothing and lighting effects in this stellar representation of the comely lass, bravely walking at night on the streets of London. I hope she was carrying pepper spray. Love those leggings. You've had a terrible winter cold and snow-wise, and we've had a terrible winter with lots of sun and heat - like in the high 80s Fahrenheit, and no rain. Droughtville.
We're just hoping it doesn't melt too quickly now. It's bad enough that spring is quite muddy and rainy here; but we certainly don't need to add additional flooding to that which often is threatened. I think the creeks and streams will have extra thick ice this year too due to the sub zero temps we've had so frequently, and for so long.
