Description
Captured 2/21/15, not far from home.
This is from the same tree trunk that I posted on 2/28/15. Looks like three separate panels of textures. Difficult to believe this is a color shot. I was tempted to do some wild variations on it, but was too tired.

almost abstract
Absolutely well captured with a good sense of composition !!!!!!
a sort of repost for textures on the same tree but in an other capture !!!
Stunning textures, Harry, and a beautiful find for you. Excellent postwork with almost a graphic feeling!
Great textures & yes, this could be a very interesting jumping off point for experimenting with wild variations if you're ever in the mood...
Great textures and great capture !!!
