Description
The fruits of a night of passion.
A sure sign of the changing season, although about 2 weeks later than usual.
In my pond with about 7 - 9 adults present.
The toads are also here on the lawn every night, but as yet no spawn.

Why are all those eyeballs looking at ME? Wonderful shot...
I absolutely adore your frog/toad shots Andrea and this capture of all the tiny eyes is just amazingly beautiful :)
Many a tadpole will face a death from Dragonfly nymphs as you know. Nature has a good balance, and a great shot of them my friend.
Well spotted Andrea !!!
A wonderful capture but seeing them always puts me off my tapioca.
Wonderful capture, and just the start of it all too!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Fantastic pic. Andrea. Your pond must be amazing with all the frogs and plants that make this their home. Golly Andrea your place is a never ending showcase of beauty inside and out.
Great shot Andrea! The frogs are late spawning this year in my pond too. :)
One thing l used to dread!!!
makes me think of the old Sci Fi Movie, The Beast with 1,000,000 Eyes! Great capture
then again, when I see the title, I think of a variant on the US Movie 'Spawn' and my mind goes to some interesting scenarios with some strange, mutant, Satanic Frogs...
It must be great to wake up to this each day.
A night of passion up here in Bucks would result in frost bite not love bites.
This is such a beautiful shot! The lighting is perfect to showcase the spawn, and everything is clear and fresh and full of possibility. Well done!
Exceptional clarity in zoom!
Splendid capture!
