Detective's diary.. (please zoom) Chapter 5. Mean Street - my hood.. I jumped out to the street, thrilled by the change in my life - breathed deeply to feel the essence of my hood where I grew up. The well know smell of gasoline, garbage, small industries- all put into a cacophonic melody sound of twelwe tone horns..Ahh.. I could buy an ice cream but maybe I should visit Mr. Big Nose first..Maybe he had my suit..I mean the suit with a man inside I was looking for. I started walking, remembering my childhood and the school. Each day I had to avoid the aggressive ice cream dealers on every street corner. They gave credits to us kids but if we didn't pay...Ouchh.. Next, the bullies in school..I had to navigate and developed from early on a diplomatic tongue. Then home from school, still avoiding the bullies from school, gangs and ice cream dealers.. The Ice Cream prohibition gave a lot of people a possibility to get rich because almost none stopped eating ice creams. But soon the mobsters took over the illegal black market because it was really big money.. You all know about the ice creams gang wars so I don't have to mention it. Even the police earned big money just looking the other way.. Finally one year ago the "anti ice cream lobby" understood the meaninglessness of the law. Now ice creams are legalized and suddenly the prices fall and the crooks lost a lot of money.. Allright, don Cleptomanicore, don of dons..hope you have my suit..
