Description
The male ostrich is warning us to keep our distance from the nesting female. Probably a good idea.
The second of the guilty purchases is Ken Gilliland's Songbird Remix Ostrich found at Hivewire. It is a fabulous package with the different textures for the various breeds and the fact sheet about the bird. Very thorough and well thought out product, not to mention fun to play with. I scaled a couple of the Poser primitive balls for eggs and threw a torus textured with the ground to form a nest.
The Serengeti Environment is a DAZ product.

Oh...I'm careful. The ostrich is an animal that has no natural enemies. I was once on a Ostrich Farm and also have stroked her long neck .... but there was no offspring in sight. And they have wonderful eyes. Like giant pearl beads.
I love these Ostrichs!!!! Beautiful scene!!!!!
Fantástica e criativa cena minha amiga as avestruz são maravilhosas, amo as poses, avestruz as vezes são perigosas o cenário é fabuloso.+++++++++5
lovely scene
Super cute!
Very good scene!
Lovely nature scene. Love the panoramic background. The torus used as a nest is a clever idea, too! I would have thought the ostriches were friendly if not for the notes and title. Guess you never know. :P
Excellent Work.
Very well done! So cool! If I met a full grown ostrich, I WOULD back off!! They are fierce and really do make one hark back to the days of their ancestors: the dinosaurs! :)
