Description
Captured 1/5/11, while looking skyward from somewhere in the neighborhood.
Rather than my usual MO of showing the original photo atop a row of variations, I'm posting but one abstract this time, sans the original, mainly as a change in habit, and secondly to avoid any preferences among several variations. And, you'll just have to speculate on how the original looks.

Clever manipulation of this scene; I love the stained glass feeling it gives. The contrails punctate that dramatic sky beautifully! Well done.

A creative & colorful abstract - at first glance, I thought it might be an extreme closeup of a moth's wing...
after catching up a few places in the last hour, I've run out of time unfortunately, so I'll only do one for now; but this is a doozy of a 'one'! I love your montages, but to see this alone is a great experience, because we get to take-in your abstract side in all its wild glory. I love how it all bursts out from the lower left corner; and how the whites soar across those deep blues and metallic orange-browns. It's a big mental explosion, and your treatment has turned an already amazing sight into a big late 70's and 80's abstract painting, or an abstract expressionist painting. It whooshes and blasts and paints itself all over the place. And without the original, we get to dive into the abstract vision by itself. Love it, it's terrific. I'll be back for more soon, but I had to comment on this. The inner life of contrails whooshing across the cosmos...
