Description
Sit at shows watching all the pampered pooches with their beautiful flowing coats, not a hair out of place. I especially wonder about the dogs that are at the top, how much it means to the owners/handlers.
But I also wonder how many, especially the next day, after the show, whether they are allowed to charge about & get muddy & play? Will the Yorkshire Terriers have their curlers in, can the American cocker, Poodles, Maltese get their flowing locks dirty??? Maybe some but not the win at all costs brigade.
As you can see I am NOT a win at all costs type of person, my girls are allowed to be Miss World one day & as scruffy as they want the next :o)))))
Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

Good for you, Barbara, they are very lucky girls.
This picture just screams FREEDOM! I love it!
And we all see just how happy they are because of that xx
I couldn't agree more, let them be dogs. I just gave mine a bath, and now my little girl is curled up in her favorite spot against the ivy, in the dirt, baking herself in the sun while I sit on the porch and write. I think there are those that believe dogs are just high end objects to paraded around like prized possessions instead of the living creatures with feelings, and their own culture, that they are. Though I do go to great lengths to stop some of their habits, such as the eating of cat poop. Omgosh, how can such a beautiful dog like Katie fight me so hard to try and get to the litter box?
REALLY Miss Truly ! "Laughing". She looks so happy, as she parades around in her wet and muddy mode. Thankfully you are "Not One of Them" Barbara. It's a win, win situation for the Girls and you ! xx oo
That is the face of one happy pup!!!
personally, I see that she is even more beautiful in her joy of having freedom to roll, wade and get totally muddy! Great capture
So glad that you let your girls have a lot of fun, Barbara.
I agree, dogs should have their own time to play!
You have a great attitude Barbara and your girls have the best of both worlds. Also a great POV for this photo!
lovely!
