Description
There is a 'Shoot a Single Colour' theme in one of my Flickr groups, so I took several alternative shots of my red applique stash!
Something more abstract

Excellent shots Andrea, and a good fiddle to boot.
Superb, love the colour.
What an exciting abstract you have created! The single colour challenge is a difficult one, this works so well!
This is marvelous and it reminds me of a single color shot I took not too long ago...of my coat sleeve: I should post it (later) but for now I'll just enjoy this! I love the excitement this has: you captured so many exciting curves and patterns. There's an organic feel to this: rather like the inner workings of a somewhat odd flower! Really well seen!
I like these very much!
A very appealing effect & abstract composition - has the look & feel of a Pop Art silkscreen...
intense is a very good word for this and the other shot!
Nice abstract. Looks a little like the inside of an animal. I can see ribs, an organ. What Chip said, organic.
Very very cool !!!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Awesome abstract compositions Andrea. Fantastic shades of reds and textures on your stash in Flickr. Thanks for sharing !
Nice postwork here and while I was over on the FlickR side of things - I was able to enlarge the collection of cloth and red bolts and then move around the photo in zoom mode!
Marvelous abstracts!
gadzooks---only 3 zooms: This blooms, in zoom. LOve the blasts of red, but closeup it also has oranges and crimsons and red-browns and pinks, etc. And all kinds of geological borders, and little colonies of creatures (lower right corner---love those little dots), and a big opening in the center, and some kind of ribbed structure, and some very appealing white sections, and so on. The lines and shapes are abstract; and the differing textures make this a big gathering. Wonderful work! And I saw the applique collection, and it's really red! Lots of photographic opportunities there...With your eye, you could photograph within and around your home and nowhere else, and never run out of inspirations. Love this! (btw, I know "gadzooks" comes from "god's hooks"; and I always wanted to go to heaven and see a big beat up cardboard box with hooks for coats and such, and a handwritten sign that said "god's hooks". No offense meant to the crucifixion, but I'd take a photo--just humdrum hooks with screws--and post it under "Religious/Spiritual". Next to an upload "god's eyeglasses, eyeglass cases, and a small clamp wrench"...)
