Great work on another lovely capture, Harry.
nice capture
Well, I know I saw this and commented, but somehow it didn't get saved, so I get to say it again: a stunning capture of this glowing damask beauty that seems to be the source of all light. Well done, my friend!
Complete with Hoverfly! Excellent timing mate. Lovely example I must say, well caught Rob
Denise said that the flower is the source of all its light. Yes---it looks like it. There's no hint of light-source anywhere else in the photo. It has real fabric texture (damask, as Denise says), and the light and the pinks and whites and yellows make this a very rich, silken image. Your background is deep and dark, but for dapples of light here and there. As for the hoverfly---I had to look hard: I didn't see it for a few minutes! But it's there (kudos to Rob). Very sensual capture, with fine dark background as contrast.
