Between May and August 1941 Bill Dunn scored 5 confirmed kills making him the first American fighter 'ace' of WWII.....
I knew I had this skin for my Spitfire 'somewhere'....took a while to find it but here it is.......
Thanks to Tryphon for the RAF gear, the renders just wouldn't be the same without it....

So nice to have you back with us Neil. Plane's prepped and ready for take off...
Great job! I always like you bits of history.
Maybe we should call these "Tryphon"s Army". Nice one, Neil. Good to see your enthusiasm has remained intact.
Marvelous image!
Great to see your work and reading your cool information Glad you're doing so well
Wonderful having you back, Neil!
There was me expecting to see Clint and Richard dangling off a snowy alpine peak (well MGM studios). Nice image and texture Neil. Btw don't ever change that avatar :-)
Ha! Way cool, and I must admit very impressive and accurate mate! Where Eagles Dare indeed, several Squadrons of them at one point! Great job....must figure out my stupid dumb poser one day lol Well done and cheers mate Rob
Nice render. Welcome back. Tryphons gear works well. By the way, where is Tryphon?
excellent
The pilot looks a bit stiff - has he fallen into the glue, or is he scared of the bloke coming toward him? So much depends on the ground crew - best treat them VERY well! Cool job with the plane and the sand bag emplacement. Yes, where IS Tryphon? Has this mystery something to do with Tailspin test flying planes again (ie Tryphon hiding in a deep bunker?). Keep up the good work! :-)
Very nice!
