Description
many thanks for dropping by for a gander. hope your week will be super.
my dear dear mom is doing well, she just got her results back from the c-scan and all looks good.
i have had poser 9 for about a year now, tried it at first on my poser computer, not this one. could not stand the new interface. well anyhoo a friend of mine got a few hand me down free computers from his work and gave me one. i have had it for about 4 months now. i was waiting to purchase a bigger hard drive for it, the one it has is about 80 gig. my other poser computer with poser 6 has a 200 gig. but is the older style computer with the ribbon style plug in's. but could not wait to afford bigger drive so i'm slowly putting in content on the newer one. will be a very long process with about 250 cd's to go through. so i might be having a gap in posts or doing a litt;e p6 and p9 untill i can get ton know the new system and adding content for the poser 9/ thanks for reading and hope you like my first render. i only had limited things installed when i did this one. and had to use the cool Blue character, does not workie in p6. lol Steve

Great job on this image Steve !!
Great to hear your Mother is doing well :) wonderful scene and work,my friend**********
Cool scene and characters, love their poses!
That's how I got my current computer too, well not from a friend but it was a Refurb of a bunch of Dell's traded in on an Upgrade by the VA Hospital, plenty of power and speed like new, a Core 2 Quad, 3.3 Ghz 180gig HDD, win7pro installed for $200, that's a good deal had it for almost a year and it's been flawless. I think Refurbs are the way to go, had nothing but problems with New ones I've had, Had 2 Refurbs this Dell and an older IBM/Lenovo that never had a bit of problems, big believer in used computers. Peace
Happy to hear your mom is doing well! Poser 9 is an excellent upgrade! Now let's see some IDL and SSS renders ;). If you ever have any Poser questions feel free to sitemail me!
I LOVE IT... Marvelous scene and composition... It's absolutely Gorgeous my friend... Lovely girl and pose also !!!
Marvelous image!
Excellent use of color.Neat posing and light.
Wonderful work !
She's charming and your image is original with the smoking blue character, Steve ! I'm glad for your mom....
Superb first render in P9! Sometimes, it's the simple scenes that are best. It's always difficult to change of pc. Have a good Tuesday!
My computer has 500GB and I use for poser an external drive with 1 TB. My Runtime is still from an older version and I work with Poser14. So when something with my poser get wrong I have at least not to install all the content again. Had that a few times!!! However your image is lovely!! Wonderful work as always!! It seems you are a fan from that song. I love it from the searchers! Hugs Ute
Nice work with the love potion scene. It is good that you have acquired a newer computer.I am still working with my old dinosaur and going to the library to use theirs when I can.
This is one awesome pin-up image Steve, superb work on everything.
Adorable scene, Steve. Good luck with the new PC!!!!!!
nice work good luck in your re install.
An outstanding first go with P9, Steve! So glad you have a 'puter that will work with it. I think once you get used to P9, you're gonna love it! I know the interface is different on the older versions of Poser.... I cut my teeth on Poser 8, which was after they changed the 'look' and user interface, I think. Anyway, after seeing what you've done all these years with P6, I'm looking forward to what you'll create with P9. I know it'll be great!
Oh, and I'm sooo glad to hear everything is good with your mom! Great news!
Congrats on the upgrade!!!!! I'm using poser 8 and I really don't like the new interface either but we'll get used to it:) You're first image is very nicely done :) Glad you got the new computer :) Looking forward to more :)
You'll never regret the upgrade to poser 9 with a faster computer. Agree that you should just get a big external computer and then transfer the files over... I did it that way and I would never have been able to find the time to reinstall. I think this first poser 9 render already shows the quality increase... just look at her skin tones and the wonderful even shading. Great concept to do it on pure white, with a simple set, like a classic pinup. Well done.
very lovely. happy you moving up in computers
I still can hear the song (I've got the album somewhere !). It's a very beautiful image, very well done.
Just love it - Lovely & funny scene!!
good luck installing the content bro.
Maravilhosa obra meu amigo a garota é magnífica a pose é encantadora,amo o personagem azul a composição é fabulosa.+++++++++++5
fantastic composition!!
This looks really great! (Lovin' the little blue character there.) ... and one of the best parts about upgrading from Poser 6 - you now have multiple 'edit-undo' levels! Yay! (That always drove me crazy with P6 - only having one undo level.) One nice thing about re-installing content (that is, if you don't use the external-drive option) is that you get to re-discover all of that old content that got lost somewhere along the way. ("I KNEW I had that item somewhere!") Good to hear about your Mom. Hope all else is good with you and yours. Welcome to your new computer/software! Can't wait to see what you'll create now.
There's also alot of fun to be had in re-visiting old renders to see how much you can improve upon them, with the new rendering options.
Cool image!! I like that little blue character.....'lol' Nice one Steve!
Glad your mother is okay Steve. It seems you're looking for "having the tower" ! Wish you a big one as my 3D model around there...
Very charming and funny, terrific scene!
