Description
Captured 1/13/15, not far from my riveting residence.
Egad, it's been aeons since I last posted some tree bark. The only excuse being that it's received a lot of competition from other subject matter since then, so it's easy to overlook.
Have a stimulatingly nice day.

Great image! I love it!
Very Cool Shot!!!
I like it... Fantastic capture also !
Great work on this detailed capture, Harry.
superb capture...an excellent example about the life in the Nature !!!
Wonderful capture of this expanse of thick bark, protecting the heart of the tree; and I see the tree is bursting with life, sending out several new sprouts through the cracks. Excellent work, Harry!
Fantastic details and striking textures in this shot of an old tree trunk from which new life begins. Superb!
a little sprout amidst a wall of bark---very impressive! Lots of light on that bark, too, accentuating the deep crevices in between. And that sprout---centered to make it the "star" in the image---looks like the tree has a planter in it, for decoration. Or like the sprout is proud and wants some attention, even as he sits on a huge tree...Terrific closeup of a tree; and the sprout makes it into a portrait. Love the shot.
