Young Love
Young love is so beautiful,
As a sunny day in May.
It is often fresh and new
Like flowers on a spring day.
Young love is even magical,
Just like a fairytale dream.
It’s exciting and whimsical,
Almost a fantasy it seems.
Young love is filled with
Laughter from the beginning,
With that giddy feeling,
Which sends your head spinning.
Unfortunately at times young love
Will end much too fast.
Youthful immaturity is the factor,
Why these feelings can’t last.
However there are rare times,
When this love does forever last.
Then it transcends the test of time,
It’s so special and unsurpassed.
