Description
Captured 1/13/15, very early morning, about .30 of a mile from my heavenly haven.
This is a followup to my Utility box art posted on 1/4/15, depicting a geisha girl on the south side of the box. The pics above were taken on an overcast morning, when the light was more equally distributed with far less contrast. The bottom shot shows much of the south side previously posted.
In an effort to pretty up the area, the City Hall administration has commissioned, or held a contest for, young artists to do their artistic thing, using city property as their canvas. So far, this is the only art work in relation to the project that I've encountered.
Have a nice day.

Awesome City Art!! Great Capture!!!
There really is some amazing art on these boxes, Harry.
That's a great idea. Allowing young artists to create their artistic expression as well as bringing beauty the neighborhood. Nice capture and postwork!
Absolutely FABULOUS... Outstanding TAG and marvelous picture my friend !!!
S U P E R B captures ! OUTSTANDING Street ART !!!
It's lovely artwork; I'm glad they let them sign it and take credit for their work. Excellent captures, Harry!
The first two shots are beautiful frontal captures of artwork. Despite the detractions of a city, your shot brings the art into full focus. The 2d shot (closeup) shows the range of colors, many pinks and rustic reds and peach tones mixed together. It's a beautiful painting on such a utilitarian structure. The bottom two are dedicated to showing us the juxtaposition of the two works of art, and also give us more of the city setting. The dramatic angles do all that. And in the lowest shot, the play of verticals and horizontals---including those red girders along that stark white wall---is striking. You've handled the hues here very well, and made it a near abstract. As you've handled the lines of the street in the 3d shot well, making a series of horizontals in harmony with the sidewalk and angles on the box. A fine series, as art presentation, and as photographic composition. And I hope they do more of this---it works beautifully in this case.
