Description

"Cogito ergo sum" - René Descartes. "I think, therefore I am", well I'm told it translates better as "I am thinking, therefore I exist", but that's not as catchy. So okay, I know that I exist because I'm asking the question, "Do I exist?" - got to love the power recursion. But does anyone else exist? Some philosophers - Plato, Aristotle, I'm talking to you - have asserted that all experience, including all of you out there, are just my imaginings, merely dreams a la 'The Matrix' - Hollywood ripping off 'Doctor Who' again. Intriguing concept, but is it true? I say no and I offer this picture as evidence. "Nunquam putaram" - Clayton the Canadian. "I would never have thought of that", well I'm told it translates better as, "never thought of that", but that's not as catchy. My cognition's admission that it is far too stupid to make all this stuff up. Consider the photograph. Never in a million years would I have ever considered making snowmen as cool as this - pun intended, snicker. Obviously, thoughts exist that originate from far more fertile sources than myself. In any case, if I were making up the entire universe, why would I age or get the flu or allow 'Felicity' to run as long as it did? Seems self defeating to me. Plato, Aristotle, you get a 'C'. So there.

And thank you all so much for stopping by and taking a look. Have a great weekend everyone!

Clayton, this is a truly marvelous capture that gave me a much needed lift today. As Rod pointed out this is one of the coolest and most original ideas for snowmen I've ever seen.
