The girls could not believe that they were actually talking to the male lion who introduced himself as Trago. As they quietly approached the wall Trago had caught sight of the friends. They stopped in their tracks but Trago had called out to them. "Please do not be afraid, no one will hurt you here." Zlata fell backwards into the snow, she couldn't believe that such a big lion was telling them not to be afraid. "Just come round to the side, there is a gate & we will let you in." Trago said. So, Meadow & Jasmine, sensing all would be well, went to where Trago pointed & entered. Meadow at first was a little apprehensive as also stood there was a female cheetah, who was introduced as Jinga. Jasmine told Trago, all about Captain Jack & the white Tiger, that had escaped from the park & they were out looking for it. She told him that she had caught sight of it but it had dissappeared when they went to look. Trago assured them that the white tiger meant nobody any harm. In fact none of the big cats were dangerous at all. They came here every year to celebrate New Year in the snow with their friend Bolo the snow leopard, as they were not used to seeing snow, they always lived somewhere hot. "Oh so you are on holiday but Yola didn't tell us about you all?" Jasmine told him. Meadow was trying to keep a low profile, while Zlata & Fat Robin watched the proceedings from the wall. At that moment Yola jumped over the wall, just missing jumping on Meadow. "So sorry." she said to Meadow. She turned to Jasmine, "I wanted to tell you but thought you might not come with me. We have watched you all enjoying the snow so thought it would be good to meet you & have some fun together." "True," said Trago. "So we sent Echo to seek you out, that must have been when you saw him. He hasn't returned yet but we think from what you have said when he saw Captain Jack he must have got worried, so didn't show himself to you. "But Captain Jack wouldn't have hurt Echo, he is our friend." Jasmine told them. "He is very human like & not all humans like animals, especially ones they don't understand or are scared off. Some can be too quick to hunt us." "I can assure you Captain Jack would welcome you all." Meadow now added her twopenneth. "I believe you, would you still spend some time with us & have fun in the snow?" Trago asked. "Better still, you come & share our hospitality, meet Captain Jack, Truly, Zwoggle & Mr. Buck, he is a cat too but lots smaller than you." Zlata had suddenly jumped down from the wall, not scared of the cats anymore. "That would be lovely as long as you are sure it will be ok." said Trago. "What we waiting for?" asked Jasmine."Come & meet the gang & we will hopefully find Echo on the way." So that is what everyone did, they set off to Captain Jacks.
