Description
Qing gave me this Tate Modern gift of a little Christmas house with a grow your own cress garden.
It has already germinated, and reminded me very much of pictures of the Catholic Purgatory!

OH ! Yes cress. I love that and this made a great picture :-D
Lots of wiggles--made me giggle ! Awesome photo, thanks for sharing Andrea.
Love it! A great picture, and your title makes it even better. Amazing, what a difference a couple of words make. :)
Looks like quite a mob out there. The only things missing are the torches and pitchforks. Funny and creative.
What a capture, I love the whole mix. But I assume wassailers are still considered, in England, a joyous hard-drinking group of people singing in the streets? At least in the past...(You probably know that the root is "hale" or, earlier, "hail," which is related to our "health"---be healthy, be hale! "Wassail! wassail! all over the town, Our toast it is white and our ale it is brown...") So with all the purgatory here---which I can see---it's a very positive image, of wassailers taking over the whole shebang, with a big boisterous party of health-giving ale and song. That's at least how it looks to me. And your pov makes it like a big sprout-salad uprising, storming the gates and demanding to be eaten! Delightful shot. I really like this!
A lovely tangle of life.
What a great idea. I remember being warned about purgatory when I was growing up. That was part of the 'SH*T" the Catholic Brothers used to try and brainwash us with.................
Such a cool POV here.
Oh my goodness Andrea how creative. Happy New Year my friend, hugs Jane xx
Superb creation!
LOL, what a great view this is; watch out when consuming this cress, it might not go down without a fight!
