Nature gaining ground on the fence, obviously !!!
Beautiful capture of this rustic fence!!
Where is Tom Sawyer when you want him, eh? Although that said, I think the peeling paint really adds to the great mood of this shot. What a lovely fenceline, with those brick columns between and the green things growing. Wonderful shot, Harry!
Looks like someone better get to work touching that fence up, Harry.
Beautiful capture as alwaays !!!
As always, zoom shows all your detail. In real life, maybe passersby think, "duuuude, you guys should try a little PAINT on that thing!" But in photography, that decay is grand. And you caught it, one picket after the next. Like a chorus-line. Something about your angle just brings out the individual pickets, as if they're in a lineup for a crime, lol, or as part of a dance performance. And all those striations and broken paint surfaces are part of a group presentation. It's almost like a Warhol---in fact, I'm just realizing what you have in common with Warhol's art---in that Warhol made tiny variations between panels, showing all kinds of stress lines and other "happenings" from panel to panel of his repetition-art. The rest of your pic is sharp, and the pov allows clean sidewalk to set it all off. (Though the sidewalk has a few nice pock marks, itself.) Also the red brick 'pillar' in front is a fine "frame" for the shot. Yet more fine fence work from you.
