Okay my friends, here at long last is page 9 in the continuing adventures of the Girls From T.N.A. Again, it took a little longer than expected to get this finished, but with the holidays and number of other things it's been pretty busy here as I'm sure it has been for most of you.
It took several days to do the Vue renders for the backgrounds, that - as I get more familiar with the capabilities of Vue - I find myself using it more and more. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this latest page as much as I've enjoyed creating it.
Principal writing is now complete on chapter 5 - all 31 pages of it! It never ceases to amaze me how the story has taken on a life of its own, As I've said before, my original intent was three chapters of 10 pages each. But the more I get into the story the more I find there is to tell - and it keeps almost directing itself. All I have to do is put the words down. At any rate I'm sure there will be little tweaks here and there, but this chapter is pretty much complete. Now all I have to do is create the images.
With chapter 6, the story will begin to take on a somewhat darker tone as G4, Arawen, and all the other girls continue to uncover clues and discover that there is much more to this case than any of them had imagined. Stay tuned, my friends!
Sorry I've been so far behind on my comments, but things here have been pretty busy lately, with the holidays and a number of other things going on. I've been doing a fair bit of upgrading here, and I hope to have some new surprises for you in the coming year. Now to get busy and get caught up!

Wow...Demarra looks fab in her flight suit and I like what you did with Alex's Sonya :) I am a little concerned for Trish and Rico though. Great looking panels, Rod and what a cliff-hanger - you devil! :)

so well done, Rod. your images always get better with time in how you perfect this series. 100% feel this would be super in print. i mean the stories, the mega cool props you use, the details in all the outfits and segments are very professional. i can't imagine how difficult it is rendering each frame and resizing to fit for posting with all the props and details. ace job !! That is the problem I have is starting a story and it takes off on its own and even I don't Know where or when it will end I am just along for the ride

The story is captivating, and the backgrounds are superb. I really need to look into learning Vue. Maybe next year? Great work, and Merry Christmas to you and all your characters.

Fantastic chapter Rod. Don't you love it when the story starts telling YOU what to write! Excellent set of panels and your increased use of Vue is certainly adding to the atmosphere and mood of the story. And..I love all the outfits! Very cool variations and selections. A lot of work went into this. Great dialog and clever and funny asides in this too; "you and Ranph loose in the lab with that.." and "I should have worn hiking boots instead of these.." That's especially funny considering the number of V4 adventure outfits that all come with outrageously high heeled boots and shoes. And of course the dreaded cliffhanger. I hope I don't have to wait too long! Of course I realize the Holidays are here and Vue does not always move as fast as we like. Looking forward to the next page.

What really cracked me up about that scene was the two trash guys...... "Did you see that??"..... "No, and neither did you..." (which worked its way into this story with the two lizards back in Ch 3...) You're fairly close, though.... (hint.... Ch 3 Page 17.... Pay particular attention to the last panel....) :-D

Really, the use of VUE has added a whole new element to your last few panels. The landscapes are taking in a much more realistic appearance and are providing a firmer backdrop for your stories. You could not have had the line about wearing boots without a good rocky slope to anchor it on. Has the Stooges spacecraft had a touchdown?
