Description
All around Libby, Montana are these gorgeous Larch Pines. Someone told me they lose their needles, so I guess by now they're bare. But I got to see the show they put on and it was just amazing!!

Very fine capture !!!
Such a buttery yellow! I always thought that it was the birches that did this colour. I learn something everyday.
Striking color contrast between the two types of trees...
Fantastic shot....EXCELLENT...!!!
Very beautiful scene
Loverly color and contrast in this woodsy scene, Marilyn.
beautiful !
Very beautiful indeed!!!
lot of depth in this shot, and the yellows shout out from inside it. I know you're standing on something secure, but it looks like you're on a treetop, which isn't so secure. There's a big "looming" feeling in the shot, with two deep dark shadowed 'depressions' between the trees. You caught the expanse and the plunge, and of course the beauty of the trees themselves. I didn't know larches shed...but you got them at high peak. Big plunging shot, Marilyn.
