Description
Captured 12/8/14, early am, outside of one of our local post offices.
I like the depth and repetitive patterns of the whole image. Those are windows on the right reflecting the street scene on the left.
Totziens.

a great shot of the ramp for handicapped access in postal services !!!
It looks exactly like the ramp at the post office in downtown Bellevue...Superb captures, Harry, utilizing that great reflection in the windows! The bottom one has really lovely composition with the oblique angles of those lines. Kudos!
I wish our local post office had the slip resistant surface like this one does, Harry.
It's a long way... to the post office... LOL. Great shots, I like especially the POV and depth on the upper photo.
Beautiful cpature and great reflecctions!!!
reminds me of your pergola shots, big splash of rectangles, lines, horizontals, etc. A photographic abstract. The top one has symmetry because the street is seen on both sides, in reverse of itself. It gives a spacious break from the intense lines of the middle. The bottom one is a big angle-job, with the lines moving towards that 'invisible point' that all perspective lines move towards; and the 'calm' comes from the reflected open street. And you posed this (so to speak) so the walkway black rectangles would be contained perfectly in the lower reflective glass---below the hand railing (I hope my descriptives are clear), the black rectangles fit perfectly into those lower panes, just as the rectangles on the left line up with the left frame of the photo. A fine choice. These types of studies of yours bring home the intense 'percussion' of these spaces---percussion in the sense of a drum ensemble banging away with different rhythms all in sync. Intense, busy and musical. Fine work with what is otherwise a fairly pedestrian sight. (In the sense of 'common'.) You take no sights for granted, Harry, and that's indicative of your keen dedication with the camera.
