I have now done the independent crew vehicles for my Mars Nuclear Thermal rocket, I think the end is in sight. This crew vehicle is based on a combination of a propulsion unit following the design of the European ATV, and a Russian large capsule design which adds thermal tiles to protect high speed re-entry.
