Description
This is a wonderful ancient footbridge, very well known in Little Langdale. It linked up paths between the slate quarries. What a way to walk to work! It looks like the back of a Stegosaurus when you walk on it with stones stuck up on edge either side of the pathway.

I thought stegosaurus too when I saw it. I can imagine a band of dwarves & hobbits tramping across it on a legendary quest...
