Terrain created in Bryce7.1Pro,heightmap exported into Vue8Frontier,with a customized Largescale Rock Material applied.Atmo is custom,Global Radiosity used. Postwork in Photoscape3.5 for Deep Bloom filter. In Photoshop engine flares,exhaust trail,signature and resizing were added. Great terrain! The ship is subtle Maybe making the hull a different color, like orange or red, would make it stand out against the landscape

You always do good stuff, but this one is not grabbing my attention. Think I'd find it more interesting if the ship had been quite a bit closer. As it is, it seems to me just a ordinary rocky terrain of no great interest. (In fairness, I've been pretty depressed of late and have a tendency to feel pretty blah about everything. It may just be that I don't presently have the capacity to appreciate this posting as much as i normally might.) Wish I could be more positive but I also know that you would want my honest opinion whether positive or negative.
Thanks for the honest comment Jeremy...this was really just a test of using a heightmap from Bryce in Vue more than a real compositional image,and the ship was intentionally small and,as Geirla pointed out,somewhat hidden because I wanted to give a sense of the scale of the terrain and not draw attention from it by including a brightly coloured ship. Sometimes I just want to post a work in progress or an experiment for the simple reason of showing what can be done when you experiment with various programs. Always good to hear your un-filtered comments my friend!
