It took me a second to realize that these were remote controlled (RC) watercraft I'm not even going to ask how much each one is Great capture
Nice capture. Here they race RC speedboats, its amazing to watching. But I really like the serenity of the Sailboats more
Neat capture!
Wonderful image! :)
I used to watch the model boats on our park pond when l was a child, happy memories.
Fantastic capture of NO. 34 making its way around the buoy. Great shot of the "Skippers" steering their yachts around the race track.
I remember these as a kid, quieter than the planes and choppers, nuisance is when they sink, mine once did and got my father to roll up his trousers and get it back for me... it was a shallow depth. These look safe unless the sail goes flat and gets soaked. Nice shot
cool shot
Quite genteel compared to the toys our yee-haws play with over here
What a beautiful shot with that still reflection; well done!
That's a bit sexist assuming that just cos I am a boy I would love a go at this........................OK I would LOVE a go at this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a similar lake and group of serious sailors here on Albert Park Lake....which once a year is also the F1 Grand Prix track.............to the lament of the sailors! https://www.google.com.au/search?q=albert+park+model+yacht+club&num=100&newwindow=1&client=firefox-a&hs=MWr&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&channel=np&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=qRRXVJnqIY3z8gX93YD4Dg&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAg&biw=1760&bih=866
Ohhhhhh, I had to look at the flickr image to understand what you were talking about. Was not aware of this hobby, but you sure got a pretty shot. :)
A relative of mine has some RC boats every thing from yachts to speed boats.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
We stopped at a park a couple years ago where one of the main attractions was a private RC car track. Apparently it's serious business! I'd rather swim, but hey ... the more people at the track, the fewer people in the pool! :)
Fine capture.
This photo has a great reflection Andrea but both versions are well caught!
