Description

Happy Birthday, Mark! I wish you a healthy and creative year ahead, with maybe some more foreign adventure! This is Poole Park this morning on our dog walk, about as adventurous as I get.

The water is a big reflecting pool, and what a wonderful pattern it has! Great capture!

I love this, Andrea! You are a great ambassador for Southern England. Every image makes me want to visit even more. I've been on a trip without benefit of the Internet which explains my silence. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes.

A beautiful park, must be wonderful to go there whenever you want. The image feels dark in many places, and private. Solace and introspection fills it. It's very inviting, and it feels intimate. The water breaks up the reflections like oil paint, and the sweep of the path---which is fall-brown-red---gives a gentle warm touch, as does the mother (I think) and child. Esp with their white and pink coats. (There's another couple way back there too. One with a bright blue jacket.) A kind of brooding cloudy day, but inviting one into it for a protected visit. A beautiful gift for one of our best uploaders (and one of our best commenters too). Well he won't see this, so I won't say happy birthday---but Happy Birthday Mark! (I said it anyway, lol.) Beautiful image, Andrea.
