Sorry I have not posted or commented in a while. My best friend killed himself a few months ago. We were good friends from high school, thru college and reunited after we both raised families. "He was not gay" LOL He had a crack addition, but was clean for over many years. All I can say is don't do drugs...... This is my first photo since his death. He is missed by his wife and friends. He got me into astronomy. This eclipse is for you, John. Thanks for viewing

I went through the same problem in the mid 80's with a friend since middle school decided it was time to take his life, so I can understand your pain. excellent capture

First and foremost, my condolences for the loss of your friend. It's never easy to deal with, but even harder with something like this. What a great shot of the eclipse - you even got some sunspots! It was cloudy and rainy here all day, so we didn't get to see this one.
