The same way the american flag was fluttering and waving in the (non) breeze of the space vacuum Radders!
when I was a kid, pigeons were referred to as "dirty birds" ... "stay away from those dirty birds!" they are sorta like cockroaches, you can never really get rid of them ... and they can go anywhere ... I suspect these hitched a ride on the last shuttle ...
