Description
Nevado Veronica is 5,682 m high (~ 18,642-ft) and was first scaled in 1956 by a team consisting of French, Dutch, Swiss and Peruvian climbers from the north. It is a difficult mountain to climb. The snow line is at 4,800 m (15,700-ft).
In 1974 it was scaled from the south by a team consisting of British and American climbers and an all Peruvian team ascended it in 2009.
