Description
this is the first time I have seen this out of the hangar. the pilot must have been taking a friend for a ride, as the office told me there was no flights scheduled for today
I took some of my visitors to a mall while I took the man to the Cavanaugh flight museum at Addison,TX
my brotherinlaw(85 years/cancer) passed away the other night so I will attend his funeral tomorrow to be with my older sister

It look like in 1960...... Great Elico ((5++))
Sorry to hear about the loss in the family. I believe there is someone locally(upstate NY) that might have something similar to this. My brother-in-law, a pilot and former Army chopper pilot at that, mentioned someone in the area with several old(vintage) aircraft, and a Bell Heli was one I know he mentioned. Nice catch of a rare bird.
Marvelous capture, and sorry to hear about your lost of a family member, this is always hard on everyone involved!
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. great capture
i would never get in one of those. great shot though.

Reminds me of all those times I rode in HUEYs back in the day.
A great view of this Bell Richard and I offer my condolences to you and your family.
Great shot Richard of an absolute classic. We have one on display at a local Vietnam War Museum.
Nice shot! I love old classic planes.
Sorry for the loss of a family member! Nice shot, makes me remember MASH even if it is not the same type.
Nice shot Richard!
Fantastic capture!
47 model long ago I made a flight wit it as a passenger during an air show
Nice helo, outstanding capture! Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, will keep you family in my prayers.
Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. Nice shot of the chopper.
Like 'Windigo' my first thought was of M.A.S.H..... I don't 'do' heights, I get a nose bleed just standing on a chair but I've never had a problem in aircraft, probably being enclosed? I've always felt the bubble canopy on this must make a great photo platform. One of the landmarks in helicopter development, great capture...even better knowing it still gets off the ground.. 10/10
Very nice and interesting capture!
Sad to hear about your loss. My condolences!
excellent capture
I haven't seen one of these little Bells for a long time... Great shot of it, Richard! My condolences on the loss of your brother in law; my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. As we get older, it becomes more frequent - but never any easier.
I'm so sorry about your family's loss. this is a cool old helicopter!
