Description
Another Steer shot.
These handsome young men are very compliant models and I can't resist taking photos of them.
They and their friends belong to Poole Council who graze them on the heaths to keep the scrub down.

taking their photos must have been a moving experience - no bull about it! Great capture Andrea
What marvels! Aside from their perfectly familiar, almost mundane presence in our world, there's still something in bovines that makes me think of their prehistoric ancestors...it's funny that they didn't look that different. As for this shot, it's a great one: animals have such dignity, even when/if they're destined for the dinner plate. Humans, I think, can learn something from that.
They are a nice looking animal.
Really outstanding capture of this big lil' guy, my Friend! He looks so calm as he stands here, just the perfect model! :) I think your image is a powerful enough deterrence to stop eating them....
They are impressive and very photogenic, I can imagine they enjoy the freedom of grazing around there.
What a life! Wander around, scratch a bit, eat, eat some more, wander around and have a nap. And flirt with passing ladies! Nice!
I sure hope Southwark council never have this idea, They'd charge us a fortune in council tax where they keep losing them, they loose paperwork/correspondence like they are wiping there ass with it, waste of skin and bone that lot!. Terrific pic.
nice looking animals
Lovely docile animals, at least you don't have to steer clear of them ! They look to be doing very well on what they're eating and I bet they taste good too !! This is a super shot Andrea.
A very handsome scrub clearing machine he is too!
Very good pic
Very great shot of this big animal !!!
It's good to be gainfully employed and be appreciated for your work. And to have your picture published! Life is good. :)
They look like brahma cattle and very casual with you there. If they are brahma - the bulls are very aggressive!
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Such great to see this beautiful capture, Andrea. At first I thought you had made a trip to the Far East, or to Kenya.
