Description
A beautiful Blacktip Reef Shark, captured 5/26/11, shown skimming but mere inches above the surface of the famous Shark Lagoon, at the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific in beautiful Long Beach, California.

This was shot through pane glass, partially obscured by the smeary, greasy, sticky finger and handprints of undisciplined urchins, so postwork was necessary in this case. Aquarium photography faces many challenges.

Very nice shot! Haven't been to an aquarium since I was a little child..... a loooong time ago. Nice to be reminded about what I'm missing.
