Description
At this same dealership, there is this wonderful antique gas pump. and by looking at the price of gas when this pump last saw a vehicle pull up to it for gas, you know that this pump is old.
Thank you for the looks and comments
I greatly appreciate them all
Mike

Heh Heh - judging by the price Mike ... then yes. I have seen a few "hand" pumps over here though they are very few and far between.
Yep I remember. This made me think of the old traffic lights, the ones with the clock face and the arrow that span around!
I'm guessing late 60's, early 70's for sure before 72 when the arabs put the screws to us big time. A fine looking image and pump!
That goes back a few years doesn't it. would be good to be that now..
I'd almost give my left......uh........ well, never mind... for one of these old pumps! Sheesh - I can remember my dad complaining about 35 cents a gallon being too expensive... Great shot, Mike!
Yes. O.o
interesting
way back in time indee.gives afantastic nostalgic feeling.yeah the times before jihad and IS where good times.
Great photo!
Love this ...wonderful nostalgia Mike
Those were the days Mike.
nice!
Very great shot my friend.
Wish it was that price now! Well done!
i was driving when prices were this low. not anymore. cool old pump and pov shot, Mike.
Marvelous shot of this old pump, it's a pity gas has gotten so high and seems to burn up faster too, lol....:)))
Everywhere, that price has increased :(
Mike, this is another cool capture for sure. There was the Father of a friend of mine who had some similar to this one a while back that he had bought.
So on average gas prices are now US $5? Forty-nine cents seems impossible even for that long back compared to now. Where's the tipping point? $6? $8? Quite a thought-provoking image, Mike.
Lol i will stop there right now to fill up my vehicle. Lol not that it will be of any use stopping by this gasoline pump. Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Maybe once upon a time!!!!! :o)))) x
Very good
Your so funny! :O)
Terrific shot, Mike!!
Superb shot of this antique gas pump Mike. Thanks for sharing.
Cool shot. I remember when gas was 25 cents a gallon, LOL!
THE GOOD TIME
after high school I worked a short time in a gas station(1962) and the gas was in the teens for price. even in 1970 I bought gas in Texas for 20 cents. I then worked in California at a gas station and the gas was below the 49 cents
a loooong time ago. thanks for the memories.
When I started to drive - gas was 29 cents a gallon and unfiltered Raleigh's cigarettes were the same 29 cents a pack price! Those were the days!
