I just had a thought... how much money is spent on the paints? these people who do the art must either have outside funding or else they have a job that pays enough that they can live and still do the art.
Good question Mike. Anyone can go to this area of Melbourne and paint to their heart’s content! But the good ones get paid by the local restaurants as the art brings in crowds of tourists and locals alike.
VERY COOL :)
I also just had a thought, just think, that in 20 years time if they keep going over each others scrawl the wall will be 4 inches thicker :)
LOL yep the last artist to paint in the lane way will be suffocated to death!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
very cool shot of artist at work
Fascinating!
Caught in the act !
A few good painters and a lot of bad ones.
Nice catch.
Excellent candid shot!
cool candid artist @work (thinking of a gasmask, but that's me)
I liked Ronnie's comment and the colorful artwork. A cold Xmas - isn't December in the middle of your summer?
