Description
The acropolis is the topping to this Rhodian village. There is no access into the village by road the streets are so narrow. The well walked trail up to the acropolis is full of delightful buildings, doorways and shops at the lower end. There is transport available up to the top by donkey! The trouble is the poor donkeys get some of the less fit and heavier tourists to take up!
The winding road up to the top and the very busy beach can be seen to the left.

Looks like a great spot to explore on foot - relatively uncluttered with the commercialism that infects most tourist destinations. A nice long distance POV, too, though that clump of trees, while appealing, stands out a little awkwardly to me as being centered too directly below the acropolis. Don't know if it was possible or not from where you were, but I would have tried to move a little to the left to shift the trees to the right. Just a thought...

I did line the trees up exactly, as they are on a little hill and gave a natural echo of the acropolis! I'm glad you noticed what I was trying to achieve.
