Description
This huge (18 meters ) tall cross can be seen on the hilltop from miles around. The big surprise is it is hollow with a stairway to the top. This gate is now locked off as it is so narrow any fall inside the cross would make rescue almost impossible! The tonal range was so extreme I used the IR camera to darken the bright sky.
The image is huge due to mono and large plain areas in the shot and still a very small file size!
