Description
Sonya, my daughter, is casting one of her final pebbles of the season. This evening we are catching the late night train for Rostov. We had a great vacation, the three of us: Sonya, her hubby, and me. All is well that ends well. Thank you very much for supporting my selfie.

A minimal vision, but rich---your daughter's hair adds full human richness to the sight, while her body and the heavy black of her suit makes it almost a silhouette. Very strong how she assets a human presence in this timeless background. You caught the pebble perfectly, suspended as if not even moving. And the horizon is graced by her head and hand reaching just over the top. It's a study in simplicity, but it's awfully strong; and, as a farewell to a trip (and maybe to the summer), it leaves an imprint, of a person squarely set upon this timeless earth. Beautifully done as always, Nikolay. And lovingly done too.
