Description
When his consciousness began to unfold into the bleak landscape, the Traveler thought he had erred in setting the coordinates, but as he stilled his mind he became aware of the immense power and energy feeding into the silence. The pulsating light of the orb revealed a myriad of fractures in the fabric of space-time, and he suddenly knew, with absolute certainty, that this remote desert on this small, insignificant planet near the edge of the spiral arm was fundamental to the transdimensional web of interconnectivity between all sentient beings in the galaxy. And it was his responsibility to safeguard this knowledge.
My first new image for quite a while. I was simply going to put up an old image I did of the fractured landscape, but suddenly the Traveler appeared in the scene and the *possibilities* of the place revealed themselves to me in the fading light...
The Traveler is the mage who first appeared in Stardust. Rendered in Vue Infinite 2014.6, minor post-work (levels and brightness) and signature in Photoshop CC 2014.

I've been incredibly busy (for a change!), but I promise I WILL get around to commenting in your galaxies... er, galleries, as soon as possible.

Cool work and lighting.
Hello and Hi just staring at the light beautiful work smiles warm hugs
beautiful scene!
This makes me feel like I'm back in Utah. The earth is so fractured there that space-time fractures seem like a compatible phenomenon. This is just gorgeous! I love the light of course, and your composition and mood are beautifully done. You rock! :)
Fantastic
