Description
A shot from Rhodes old town on the northern tip of Rhodes. Regarded as one of Europe's best preserved medieval fortress towns. The streets are mostly far too narrow for cars. So you just have to watch out for the mopeds! Having just returned with lots of pix to upload. I thought a market street scene was a good opener.
I hope these guys had as good a trip as we did. The wearing of helmets, leathers, footware are not a legal requirement here.

Great shot. It really feels like a spontaneous moment frozen in time, yet it also seems like a very carefully planned & thought out composition. My eye is led through the depth of the crowd receding into the distance to that ornate tower. I also noticed that there doesn't seem to be anything that identifies this as a contemporary photo - it could have been taken decades ago as far as I can tell. The one very minor thing I would have been tempted to do is Photoshopping out that wire...
I guess they figure people can make their own decisions about personal safety, what a novel idea! Lovely shot of this busy shopping district, it feels dusty and warm!
