Such a lot of people out and about on those streets! Marvelous candid shot, so much detail in those faces!
Very interesting composition. Women on the left, men on the right. And, because the eye is first drawn to the light, the woman with her back to the camera becomes the fulcrum. A seemingly static picture is, in fact, very dynamic.
The first thing that strikes me is the horizontal lineup in the foreground - five people covering the four basic 90 degree positions - facing front, facing back, left profile & right profile. Then my eye notices the line of people receding backwards into the distance along the sidewalk & eventually wanders to discover the people in the street off the right. Makes for a very interesting composition & unlike some commenters, that's what I found myself focusing on rather than wondering what these people might be thinking or talking about (not that there's anything wrong with that, as Jerry Seinfeld used to say)...
