Description
This Southern Hawker female suddenly perched on my foot whilst I was taking photos of the Common Darters.
How obliging she is!
Whilst I was working on the photo I realised that I have never had a pedicure. Pointless when I spend the summer barefoot and the winter in walking boots!

A very well done and unique shot! Don't worry...if it bites you I'll call for an emergency toe truck! lol Sorry but I just couldn't resist!

Amazing shot Andrea! This is as big a poser as any bug I've ever seen! Those toes must have something that attracts bugs!

How gorgeous is she, superb pic!!!
She's gorgeous, and such a pretty face!
There is no mystery here. She is obviously saying "Take MY picture! I'm much prettier than those others." She does seem to be looking right at you. Perhaps I am giving them too much credit but I suspect they know your scent and feel very safe around you. This is an amazing picture.
I think he love your feet !!! it's a very nice shot of this sympathic insect .
Hehehe.. I merely looked at the dragonfly.. honestly :-)
They take one look at me and fly off as quick as they can.
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
If I had to attribute a human emotion to your little friend, I would say it was adoration. :)
